A couple of data acquisition (DAQ) systems was designed, developed and produced within the ComLab project.
ComLab-1 introduced two DAQ systems based on permanent (on-line) communication through the PC's parallel port.
ComLab-2 launched common platform for the DAQ systems named eProDas. The platform is based on pre-programmed PIC microcontroller complemented with a couple of passive electronic components and connected to a PC through USB. Drivers and programming libraries (DLL) developed for the PC enable that most I/O functions of the PIC can be controlled through standard programming environments such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Turbo Delphi, LabView, etc. The eProDas platform was a foundation for development and production of a couple of DAQ modules.
