Characteristics
Interconnection:
The H-bridge controler can be connected directly to:
q the PC's parallel port via standard 25-way plug
SUB-D connector or
q to 16-way box connector available at the data
acquisition systems CMC-S3 (Dig
C and Dig D), eProDas-SC1, eProDas-MF1 and
eBiol.

Power supply
The H-bridge is supplied through standard 5 mm socket,
voltage 6 V to 24 V, at least 1 A, either DC (preferably) or AC.
If connected through 16-way connector, it can be supplied directly
from the DAQ system so no additional power source is needed.
8-bit digital output
Logic level of each bit indicated with an LED. Output
voltage is about 1.5 V less then the voltage of the power supply,
maximal output current is 0.5 A. Loads can be connected between any
of the two output bits or between an output bit and ground (GND).
4-bit digital input
TTL logic, if not connected, logical 0 is detected.
Inputs are protected against damage if input voltage is out of range.
Besides IO functions, +5V and +Vc (DC voltage equal
to power supply) are available through the block connectors.
See complete technical documentation (data sheet).
Applications
Typical applications of the H-bridge are to control
models of robots, devices based on stepper motors, etc.

eProLib is
a collection of programming libraries for Borland Delphi and MS Visual
Basic, including Excel applications invoking Visual Basic code. The
libraries support the CMC-S3 system
as well.
Availability
The H-bridge controler has been produced in a series of 60 pieces
on no commercial basis. It has been tested within the project partners
and
co-operating
schools.
Its commercial price is about 40 EUR excluding
WAT and shipping.
